The clients came to us very early in the process. They had narrowed down their options to 2 different blocks of land and consulted with us in order to determine which block to go with. Once a block was chosen we moved forward with our architects and designed a house to suit the needs of the client and the restrictions of the block. This was challenging as the block had a fall from front to back of 6 metres.
Multiple external finishes were used on this house, including rendered brick, Exsulite cladding (rendered foam) and Matrix cladding. The house is over 302 square metres spread over multiple levels with a spectacular glass balustrade stair case. Quality inclusions added to the house looking brilliant. Outside, the clever use of beautiful rock retaining walls meant we were able to create a lot of level, usable space on the block. Overall, a spectacular house which we enjoyed building.
